About: Little known British musician and composer, Phil Cordell, released “Move A Little Closer” in 1980 under the alias of Springwater. Prior to this, he released instrumental I Will Return (also under Springwater) which became his single hit in Western Europe.  
Why it’s worth your time: Youthful and charming, “Move A Little Closer” brings with it teenage nostalgia–dates spent driving aimlessly, the promise of an early summer breeze, an unabashed feeling of reckless perpetuity.
